Written and Directed by: Maurice Suckling DRIV3R's plot summary revolves around Miami detectives Tanner (Michael Madsen)
and Tobias Jones (Ving Rhames) who are determined to foil the master-plan of a gang car thieves attempting to smuggle 40 of the
world's most expensive cars out of the country and into the hands of a mysterious international buyer. Tanner also receives
assistance from the ruthless, yet beautiful, Calita (Michelle Rodriguez) in order to stop the load from being shipped out and
delivered. The all-star Hollywood cast signed on to narrate video game also includes Mickey Rourke, as "Jericho the Gunner"
among the voices behind the lead roles in this, the third installment of the fast-paced, crime-busting Driver video game series.
Rourke lends his voice to the character of Jericho, THE most ruthless character in the game, who first appears in the introduction
visiting a bar in Chicago and kills a Brazilian mobster his a money man. Jericho has mysterious and dangerous persona. His history is
dark and unknown except of being a fiercely loyal bodyguard to Solomon Caine, but suddenly shows a sign he has changed when
he kills Caine. He sports his shades and dresses to the nines. His murder weapon of choice.. sawed-off shotguns. In DRIV3R,
players chase him down to Istanbul in the final mission, attempts to gun him down.
Also featured through sound-bytes is the surprising voice of Iggy Pop behind the (Baccus) character. As one of the most successful
video game franchises of all time, DRIV3R was developed for PlayStation by Atari's Reflections Interactive and was released in the
Spring of 2004. This video game is filled with extreme and exciting driving sequences making it the ultimate in the police verses the
bad-guys car-chases in nouveau high-tech cops and robbers fashion. (R)
