Actor Mickey Rourke paid an emotional tribute to Domino Harvey, who was found dead in her home last week. Rourke was in attendance for the memorial service which held place on Friday in Los Angeles. He told other mourners how at ease he felt just being around the ex-model/turned-bounty-hunter Harvey, who was one of few women he’d met who could keep up with his pace and personality. He first met her as he was researching for his role, as ‘Ed Mosebey’, ’Domino’s’ mentor in “Domino“, a film project loosely inspired by the story Harvey's life.

As he spoke, Rourke became emotional when saying.. "I came here today because Domino was such a great girl. The moment we met we really clicked. Something in both our characters mirrored each other. We were the same kind of people. I met her while researching for the film role. She was fun, lively, charismatic. She would ring me up, or I would ring her up, and she would say, 'Come on, let's raise hell,' and we would go out for a few drinks and talk the night away."
Mickey Rourke Online would like to express our deepest and sincere condolences to the family, friends and loved ones of Domino Harvey. May she rest in peace.

"This film is based on a true story.. ..sort of.."
In this 2006 Tony Scott film, box-office sensation, Keira Knightley portrays modern day female bounty hunter, 'Domino Harvey.' While born and raised in the lap of luxury, Harvey never enjoyed or adapted to the lifestyle wealth and fame dictated. She wasn't cut-out for the agendas of the privileged or befriending petty social debs. Following her education and a rather lucrative modeling stint, Domino left the business and her family in order to pursue a career as a Bounty Hunter. "Domino" loosely helps tell the tale of Domino Harvey and her friends who lived adventurously, worked hard in extremely dangerous situations and played even harder in the fast lane.
